June & July 2014 Favorites

This one's going to be a lot longer than usual since I skipped my June favorites, so bear with me! You might have already seen a majority of these items on my recent summer haul, but in case you haven't, here's a little bit more about them!

Sans Tan Anti-Aging Sunscreen
I briefly talked about this in my May Ipsy Glam Bag review, and now that I've used this pretty much on every scorching summer day, I can say that it's been a great addition to my morning routine. It doesn't have the typical sunscreen scent and the mattifying texture is quite unique.

Etude House Color my Brows in light brown
I already wrote a review on this tinted eyebrow gel a few weeks ago, so check it out here! It's been a major part of my eyebrow routine lately, so I'd definitely repurchase it when I run out.

L'Oreal Visible Lift Blur Blush in soft pink
I'll most likely do a review on this as well because I've been absolutely loving it for summer. It provides a stunning natural flush of color and feels very lightweight. It also lasts the whole day, so that's another plus!

L'Oreal True Match Super-Blendable Foundation in W4 Natural Beige
Because of the Revlon Colorstay disaster I experienced regarding their shades, I sought another highly raved drugstore foundation. This works a whole lot better for my strong yellow-based skin tone, although it still has a tiny bit of pink to it. I guess my complexion is just that yellow. Anyway, the wear is decent but it's certainly not the best for my oily skin, but among my foundation collection, this looks the most flattering on me so far.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge
I used to always use my fingers to apply foundation, but after trying this sponge, I won't be using anything else. It does an incredible job blending out foundation, blush, bronzer, or highlighter. I always use it damp because it works more effectively that way.

This brush kit is probably all I need to complete any look. It has every eyeshadow brush I could possibly want along with other essentials. I was very surprised with the great quality since this was quite inexpensive. I received it from a Light in the Box contest that I won a few months ago which I wrote about here!

NYX Matte Lip Cream in Stockholm
I've been on a long hunt for the perfect nude lip color, and I finally found it after many, many tries. I find that this particular shade is absolutely flattering on my skin tone because it's more of a muted peach rather than a washed out pink that I've previously tried on many occasions.

NYX Eyebrow Gel in Chocolate
I had a mini heart attack when I saw this on a few beauty blogs. It appears to be brand new at the drugstore, so I immediately went to ULTA and of course, it was already all sold out. I purchased it online instead, and it's absolutely amazing. It's 100% smudge-proof and waterproof which is perfect for scorching summer days! Click here for a lot more details on this product!

Bed Head Curlipops 1 inch Styler
I don't think my hair will grow any faster because I'm always tempted to curl it with this wand! I love the thickness of the barrel (although I could've bought a slightly thicker one) because it results to very effortless wavy curls.

One of the things I love about living across a town center is the chain of affordable stores. I can already tell that I'll be constantly checking out the Off Broadway shoe warehouse for more amazing deals on gems like these. This was originally about $60 and I got it for half off. It was pretty much a love at first sight because of the chunky heels and earthy colors!

You can't go wrong with acrylic organizers because they make your vanity tables look so organized and sleek. I really wish I had a bigger vanity so I can pile on more acrylic organizers!

VicTsing iPhone Lenses
Ever since I found out about the existence of iPhone lenses, I immediately hopped on the bandwagon. Photography plays a big part on my blog and everyday life, and these super cool lenses make it so much more enjoyable. It comes with a fish-eye lens, wide angle, and micro all for only $9! They're totally worth a shot!

That's all for my favorites for the past two months. Thanks for stopping by!
