Collective Beauty Haul: Sephora, Target, Forever 21

This is definitely my biggest makeup splurge by far because I was finally ready to put a gradual start on my high-end beauty collection. Keep in mind that this is a collective makeup haul, so I didn't purchase everything all at once. Read more to see all the goodies I got that ya'll know and love!

Sephora
Naked Basics - $28
If you've seen my previous wishlists, this palette has been my top want since it was first released. While I will always love the original Naked palette, I've been taking a break from my everyday smoky eyes, so I figured that the Naked Basics will give me a more understated and natural look which I've been gravitating towards lately. Also, the main reason I really wanted this palette is the all-matte texture of most shades that the Naked palettes lack.
Anastasia Brow Wiz in Caramel- $21
I never expected to spend this much on an eyebrow product, but I've heard amazing things about Anastasia in general, let alone this particular eyebrow pencil. I might have over-tweeezed my brows in an attempt to achieve the perfect shape, so I needed a pencil that would fill them in very naturally, and Anastasia's Brow Wiz apparently does the job.
Benefit Hoola Bronzer - $28
I know, I know. I just raved about a drugstore bronzer in my February Favorites, but I wasn't completely satisfied with my N.Y.C. Bronzing Powder because of the slight red undertone and limited lasting power. So, I bought Benefit's Hoola Bronzer somewhat on a whim, which I probably shouldn't do so often with high-end items, but I did look into it extensively and found enough positive reviews to be sold. I'll most likely do a review of my Sephora finds in the next few weeks, so stay tuned for that!
Too Faced Primed & Poreless Primer
I needed a good primer, so I claimed this one as my 100-point Beauty Insider reward. I've heard great things about it, so we'll see!

While my friend and I were lurking around Sephora, we found this set of mascara brushes and assumed that they were free to grab, so I got nearly every sample brush to see if each one really does have a different effect on the lashes. So far, I've tried the middle one which reminds me a lot of Covergirl's Lashblast. The other green one seems interesting although I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to do, and the last one is very helpful with getting all the lower lashes coated.

Target & Forever 21
Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Elusive - $6.49
If you haven't seen my review on Sultry, it's my current holy grail lipstick, so I couldn't resist getting yet another color from Revlon's latest lipstick line. I actually got Mischievous several weeks ago, but I was gravely disappointed by the patchiness and its drastically different consistency compared to Sultry, but I really hope Elusive won't be the same.
Maybelline Line Stiletto Ultimate Precision Liquid Eyeliner - $6.99
I've been too lazy to use my trustee gel eyeliner lately, so I thought I'd give a good liquid eyeliner a chance because I'm trying to take a break from heavy eye makeup. I gotta say though, I expected the tip of this brush to be much finer and sharper, so that was a pretty big disappointment especially because I find this to be a lot more pricy than my usual liquid eyeliners.
Sonia Kashuk Crème Blush in Blossom - $9.79
As you all probably know already, I love anything matte, but too much can look a little cakey or artificial, so I figured that a creamy blush would provide just the right balance of natural radiance. I went for this one because it had the best reviews for drugstore cream blushes!
Romantic Rose Midsize Makeup Bag - $6.80
I also got this really pretty floral makeup bag that holds a lot of space, so it would be great for traveling or sleeping over.

I've been very indifferent about my nails lately, but I really miss doing nail art every week like I did back in high school. The last time I posted a nail post was over six months ago (check that out here!), but since I have a lot of time on my hands now, I'll try to make that a more frequent thing. Here are some colors that I'll be playing with this season!
Maybelline Color Show Nail Lacquer in Green With Envy & Forever 21 Nail Color in Head in the Clouds
There's an immense lack of bright pastel colors in my nail polish collection, so I got a pretty mint shade from the Maybelline Color Show line and a periwinkle shade from Forever 21's nail polish collection. One of my favorite colors lately has been mint green, so I'm glad I finally added one to my collection as it's especially suited for spring. I also thought I'd add more blues, so I went for a shade with a slight purple undertone.

NYC In a NY Minute Quick Dry Nail Polish in Prospect Park Bloom
Sally Hansen Insta-Dri in Sand Storm
I got a couple of nude shades from Sally Hansen and N.Y.C. because I couldn't decide whether I should get one with pink or beige undertones. I'm a big fan of Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri line, so I got this stunning light taupe color which is something new to add to my nail polish rack. I decided to grab N.Y.C.'s as well because it was only $0.97!
e.l.f. False Eyelashes - $1.00
Here's kind of an impulse buy, but it was only $1 so it wasn't entirely stupid. My Daiso lashes were dying anyway so I needed a new pair.
e.l.f. Studio Stipple Brush - $3.00
I got this stipple brush from e.l.f. to test with my Sonia Kashuk crème blush because I believe regular blush brushes don't work that well with creamy formulas.
Shop these drugstore goodies!

That's it for this haul! It damaged my wallet quite a bit, so I'll try my best to refrain from makeup shopping for a good few months.
Thanks for reading!
