About the Product
Prime Objective: To prepare the skin in much the same way as a painter primes a canvas… and so much more!
Prime Objective is a silicone based face primer that acts to “re-touch” or visually diminish imperfections in the surface texture of the skin. It contains a sustained release liposome system with retinol that can help support cell turnover and reduce the appearance if fine lines and wrinkles, as well as a milk protein complex that can help to balance and protect the skin against environmental stresses. The “skin perfecting” effect of this state-of-the-art formula is further enhanced with optical diffusers.
This primer feels much like any silicone-based primer out in the market, but what makes it special is that it contains skincare-like benefits. The price makes it a little more on the high-end side, but I do think it's quite effective in minimizing pores, reducing the appearance of fine lines, and providing a smooth canvas for your foundation. I only apply this on my problem areas, such as my cheeks and chin where I tend to have texture and dryness, and I find that it definitely helps act as a smooth base for my mattifying foundations. I don't recommend applying this on oily areas though since it feels quite greasy just like most silicone-based primers. Nonetheless, it's a quality product that's worth giving a shot.
