Classic Nineties

I'm sure everyone in this generation is familiar with 90s fashion, but just in case it's a bit of a blur, this outfit is a pretty solid representation of some of the biggest trends of the era. Read more for details and how you can win the same crop top I'm wearing!

Crop tops actually originated in the 80s but was particularly popular in the 90s as most of you are familiar with, and as you all know, it recently made a huge comeback this generation with even more variations! The one I'm wearing, however, is a pretty classic piece that you would commonly see from a decade ago. A lovely company called Le3no actually sent me this top along with another one in size M to give away to one of you lucky dolls, so keep reading or skip to the end for more details!

Another huge 90s trend is a good old pair of vintage high waisted jeans. While bell bottoms were more prominent back then, high waisted bottoms nowadays have more of a skin-tight fit like the one I'm wearing from Garage Clothing. What I love about this one is how it gives me such a desirable silhouette due to the ultra high waist fit which is actually pretty difficult to find. It's the perfect length to show just a peek of skin, which in turn makes the outfit a little more alluring.

I decided to keep my accessories at a bare minimum with one of my favorite statement necklaces which I got from Forever 21. It's truly a great addition to a basic summer outfit like this because it adds a rustic element to the look.
