September 2016 Favorites

I've never been this late at uploading a monthly favorites post, but fall quarter has kept me extremely busy even though the school year just started. Anyway, excuses aside, here are some things I've been a huge fan of this September!
Clinique Stay Matte Oil-Free Makeup, Alabaster
After a long-winded quest to find the perfect matte foundation, I think I finally found my favorite one - the only problem is that it's not my exact shade but I'm too lazy to exchange it so I'll just wait until I finish this tube. This foundation lasts a whole day on my combo skin and doesn't get oily until the 8-hour mark, and even then it's not too bad. It's definitely something I can wear on a full day out of the house, and it's not heavy at all for everyday use.
Giorgio Armani Eye Tints
Influenster blessed me with yet another luxury set to try out and I'm glad to say that it didn't disappoint. I'm more of a powder eyeshadow kind of girl, but these creme pigments are so easy to work with and are perfect for an on-the-go look. I've especially been using the shade Leather Smoke for an intense smokey eye as you can see in this photo I posted on Instagram.
Giorgio Armani Beauty Eccentrico Eyes To Kill Mascara
Another gem that came in the package is this super volumizing mascara that I've been totally loving especially for my lower lashes. I've been wearing falsies for the past few months, but I still need a good all-around mascara for my bottom lashes and this definitely does the job!
Smashbox Always On Matte Liquid Lipstick, Driver's Seat
I've been a little more adventurous with my lip colors lately, but I'll always have a soft spot for terracotta shades like this. This liquid lipstick collection probably has the best formula I've ever tried because it's not the kind that crumbles on dry lips, yet it's extremely matte and transfer-proof. It doesn't dry out my lips at all and the color stays on the whole day.
Kylie Cosmetics Matte Lip Kits, Exposed, Dirty Peach, Ginger
I'm a little ashamed to say that I gave into the hype. I'm not the biggest fan of Kylie Jenner or the Kardashians for that matter, but I've actually been hearing great things about her lip kits. I took advantage of the once-in-a-blue-moon free shipping deal and copped two shades which I've been absolutely loving. Dirty Peach has especially been well-loved this past month because it's such a unique nude shade that actually looks great for everyday wear. I certainly don't have anything quite like it in my collection! Exposed has also been one of my absolute favorites.
Rosegal Brushes
I have a whole review of these brushes in collaboration with Rosegal, so you can check that out here. I received three different sets and I've narrowed it down to this small selection. These brushes have essentially been my everyday makeup tools and it's great that the quality definitely surpasses the extreme affordability. I'm all about a good bang-for-your-buck and these brushes certainly gave me that.
Erno Laszio Exfoliate & Detox Collection
Skin care is always tricky to test out because of how long you have to wait to see the full effects, but so far I've been enjoying this new collection that I received from the brand Erno Laszo. They look and feel very luxurious and it's like having a fancy at-home spa every night!
Memebox One Week Candy Mask Package
Speaking of skin care, I've been wearing these masks throughout the month and they're nothing like your typical sheet mask. They have that gel-like substance that gives your skin such a smooth and soothing feeling and it definitely leaves my skin feeling super hydrated.
Wet Seal Tiger Patch Plaid Shirt
I always talk about my struggle to find the perfect vintage flannel and I'm so ecstatic to say that I've finally found the one. Not only does it have that worn out wash that I've been looking for, but it also has this vintage patchwork that says 1995 which is the year I was born, making it even more personal to me. I'd say this flannel surely goes to my pile of all-time favorite clothing pieces!
Gearbest Trendy Broken Hole Sheath Stretchy Bermuda Shorts
I tend to dress a little more edgy than usual when it comes to fall and winter, so anything with distressed detailing has my stamp of approval. These bermuda shorts are certainly a unique addition to my wardrobe and it's one of those things that not everyone quite approves of, but I personally love the look so I've been wearing it a lot ever since I received them from Gearbest.

That concludes last month's monthly favorites! Sorry again for being super late, but expect lots of fall and winter style posts very soon in collaboration with a few online brands! 'Til next time!

xoxo,
