April 2016 Favorites

April's been a pretty eventful month as far as new products and collaborations went, so let's just hop right into the ones that I've been using and enjoying consistently for the past month!
Memebox I'm Eyeshadow Palette in #SP01 Day to Night
I meant to include this palette in my last favorites post as you may have noticed on the cover photo, but I don't know why I didn't. Anyway, this palette is surely one of my favorite Memebox products by far because they really improved their pigmentation with this one. It's a great everyday palette, but it also has some deep shades that are perfect for a more dramatic look.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation in Buff
I've probably gone through about 3 of these in desperate attempts to find my shade (all of which I returned), but I think I'm content with this one now even though it's tad light on me. It's probably the most yellow-toned out of the bunch that I've tested out, so I decided to keep it and it's actually been my everyday foundation for the past couple weeks. The formula is super long-lasting and lightweight, and they finally added a pump to the packaging!
Colourpop Ulta Satin Lip in Echo Park & Lippie Pencil in Brink
Can you tell how much I freaking love Colourpop? It's like every month that I have new favorite things from their collections! It may come off as a shock, but I'm finally breaking free from my obsession with dusty red lippies and now developing a new obsession for peachy nudes. This has definitely been my #1 go-to this month because the formula is incredible as usual and I feel like it's just the perfect nude for my skin tone. It also complements my usual heavy eye makeup!
Limecrime Velvetine in Bleached
Here's another one that's fairly similar to Colourpop's Echo Park but just a little more peach. The formula's completely different, but I've also been loving it as well.
Arctic Fox Hair Dyes in Purple Rain & Aquamarine
I was getting a little too lazy to touch up my hair every two weeks, so I looked for other dyes that would last longer than Pravana. Don't get me wrong, Pravana's an amazing affordable product as far as color payoff goes, but it almost completely fades on me after just one wash, while Arctic Fox takes several washes until I notice significant fading. Also, this combination gives me the perfect cool-toned lavender shade that I've been wanting to achieve!
House of Lashes: Iconic, Featherette, Bambie
Speaking of being lazy, getting the most out of my natural lashes using waterproof mascara is such a tedious process and not to mention the worst part - removing it. So, I've been wearing these gorgeous falsies pretty much on a daily basis because I don't have to worry about adding 3-4 coats of mascara to get long, voluminous lashes. These actually look incredibly natural and I just love how they make my eyes pop even more. Applying falsies instead of mascara has also cut my makeup routine down to a few minutes, which is always nice when I'm in a rush to get ready for school.
House of Lashes White Lash Adhesive
The glue that I've been using is also from House of Lashes, which holds up extremely well. I remember going to the beach on a super windy day and felt like my lashes were about to fly off but this glue kept them pretty in tact!
Smile Sciences Teeth Whitening Kit
I've seen tons of whitening kits all over Instagram for the past year, and this is one of the brands that I've always wanted to try. Luckily, I was sent a free kit to test out which I've been pretty impressed with. I'll certainly continue to use it until I achieve my desired results. Use the coupon code SONJAKIT to get it for only $29 compared to $299!
Wet Seal Slouchy Pocket Tee
If you've been following me on Instagram for a fairly long time, you'd know that I'm all about basics once summer hits. This slouchy V-neck has definitely been my lazy day go-to for the whole month because it looks super effortless and edgy at the same time. Just by adding some distressed bottoms and a boho necklace (which is also a huge favorite this month), this outfit has pretty much been my style on casual days. I even bought two more in different colors!
Shop Sweet Mayhem Sydney Off Shoulder Top in White/Taupe
When I feel a little bit more dolled up, I go for this stunning bohemian top that pretty much has Coachella written all over it. It's very airy and comfortable and I just love how it looks with distressed denim cutoffs and little boho-chic accessories. This is certainly one of my favorites spring/summer outfits by far!

I'm sure I missed a few favorites this month, but if I remember, I'll be sure to include them in May. Hope you enjoyed this one!
