Sapphire Street

It's been a while since my last outfit of the day, so here's one that reveals a glimpse of my winter fashion lookbook.
Since southern California is typically known for mildly cold winters, I threw on a figure-hugging, long-sleeved dress and layered it with a cropped moto jacket.

What's great about this top (or dress in my case) is that although it has a very tight fit, the stripes give the illusion of curves, which is perfect for petite, shapeless bodies.

Top/dress - Forever 21
Moto jacket - Fallas Paredes
Thigh high socks - Wet Seal
Beanie - Zumiez?
Oxfords - American Eagle

While my fashion sense gravitates toward vintage and boho-chic during the autumn season, I tend to wear a lot of street style pieces in the winter. The dark nautical pattern, edgy outerwear, and classic black beanie showcase the general idea of street fashion. For shoes, I opted for my classic black oxford heels to go with the nearly monochromatic look. I also added thigh high socks because I consider them a fall/winter essential.

I'm wearing Wet n Wild's "Cherry Bomb" Lipstick, which I reviewed recently. It's much darker and more vampy in person, which makes it a winter makeup staple for me.

That's it for this outfit. I'll try to shoot more of my winter looks this month, so stay tuned!

  1. Love how you pair the dress with casual biker jacket. The heels and knee-high socks add some girly element into this casual look <3
