Clothing Haul: Brandy Melville Warehouse Sale

I gotta admit, it was my first time shopping anything Brandy Melville. Since I'm always too broke to go to the actual store, the warehouse sale in L.A. was the perfect opportunity for me to scour their ever-so-coveted clothing. It was pretty crazy in there, but luckily, we arrived at 5:30 am and managed to get in as the last group. I really wish I bought more, but I didn't have enough cash and I'm trying really hard to save up for Black Friday/Cyber Monday and Christmas. Anyhow, I only spent $40 for 5 super cute clothes!

Among their vast collection of cute and effortless dresses, I always had my eye on the Jada dress. I was hoping to find the one with a darker print, but this was the closest I got. It's so comfortable and I love the loose fit that reminds me of vintage 90s dresses. The large opening on the back gives an appropriate chance to show off that Chiyo top (which I recreated in my DIY post here). I'll probably save this for summertime though because it's super lightweight and delicate; it's also the perfect beach coverup!

Next is this loose black jersey top that is so unbelievably soft and comfortable. I own so many collared blouses, but none of them are black, which is surprising because I own almost everything black. Anyway, I could use a little more casual in my wardrobe, so I grabbed one of these.
Jeans were my very first fashion obsession, and I don't think it'll ever go away. I own a decent amount of high-waisted pieces, but I was missing a pair of light-washed high-waisted jeans. Luckily, I found one that fits me perfectly. This one has subtle white stripes which gives a nice, elongating effect on the legs. It's also not completely denim, so it's very comfortable to move around with.
I also found these cute high-waisted shorts. They were lying around everywhere, so I figured I'd grab one. It's definitely a summer/spring pair because of the dainty flower print and cotton material, so I'll save them 'til then. As a matter of fact, a majority of the sale consisted of summer wear, which explains why I didn't get to find nice sweaters.

Here's a really basic layering piece that could actually be useful for fall and winter. I love loose long sleeves more than anything in the colder seasons, so my wardrobe can never really get enough of them. This one's pretty much just a lazy-day kind of top. The material is really soft as well, and you can never go wrong with that off-the-shoulder style.

Well, that's it for my Brandy haul. As I said, I really, really wish I bought more, but I have so much to spend for the holidays.

P.S. Sorry for the horrible exposures. The room where I shoot is very dark and yellowish, and I can never find the right exposure setting in my camera.

Have a great day!
xoxo,

  2. I loved that low-sleeve top in last picture. I also own similar top but I bought it from shop Zara online. Mine is in lavender color with attached fabric necklace adding to its grace.
