Spring Trend: Tea-Length Skirts

I'm sure many of you have noticed that the trends lately have been a throwback to the past couple decades (crop tops, harem pants, high waisted jeans, collared blouses, etc.), and one of the up-and-coming spring items this year is no exception − tea-length skirts, with the hemline between midi and maxi, exemplify the feminine style of the 50s. Take a look at how the 1950s trend meets modern fashion!

The addition of unique patterns, jackets, and chiffon material instantly modernizes this vintage look to fit more into our generation's fashion. The 2000s may not have a distinct and stable clothing fad, but I think what's great about our time is that we're able to find so much inspiration from the previous decades and mix it into our own sense of style.

As usual, what makes them perfect for your spring wardrobe are the lively pastel colors and lightweight material.

Tea-length dresses are also rising - especially on the red carpet. Here are some celebrities rocking the trend.

As much as I love vintage fashion, I'm almost certain that this trend isn't for me. I personally think it swallows petite figures, but that shouldn't stop you from trying it out!

What do you think of this classy spring trend?

  2. Really love this post! I agree that they're not flattering for shorter girls, which sucks. Unless we wear heels haha :)
