Review: Pure & Essential Minerals Dead Sea Mud Mask

This review is long overdue, but I got to use for a couple months now which is more than enough for me to gather my overall opinion on it. Read more for details on this organic mud mask!

Application
Do not wash the face before using this mask. Apply a medium layer of Dead Sea Mud Mask to the face and upper part of the neck, avoiding the eye area. Leave on to dry for 10 minutes to allow full absorption of Dead Sea Minerals and extraction of any impurities. Remove the mask by wetting and gently rubbing in circular motion for an overall exfoliation. Wash off any excess mud mask with lukewarm water and gently pat dry. For best results use Pure & Essential Minerals Dead Sea mud mask no more than once a week.

Results
I don't remember how long I've been using this exactly, but it's been at least a couple months for sure. The only other mud mask I've ever used is the one I received from InstaNatural, which I believe has pretty much the same effects as this one. The only difference is that this stings during application but in a refreshing sort of way if that even makes sense. It feels like it's actually taking effect right when I apply it because of the cooling sensation that seems to absorb all the oils and dirt from my skin. It's a lot softer in that it doesn't dry to a cement-like texture like the InstaNatural Mud Mask, but one thing that I think most people won't like about it is the rubbery, sulfuric scent. At first, it smells like peppermint, but once applied, it has quite a strong odor. Other than that, I honestly think this works quite well and I'll definitely continue using it. It certainly makes my face softer, cleaner, and more radiant after application. I wish it did anything for my redness though since that's really the only problem I'd like to fix regarding my skin, but I think that's gonna require a different kind of product.

With all that said, I recommend this product if you're looking for something to thoroughly exfoliate and cleanse your skin on a weekly basis. Since this is meant to be applied sparingly, I'm sure it'll last me a long time, so that's another plus. Hope you got something out of this review, and I'll catch you in my next one!
