Spring Trend: Slip Dresses

I know it's a little too early to talk about spring fashion, but it seems that winter is already over (although it never really came) here in SoCal. So, here's one of my favorite spring/summer trends!
Brandy Melville is especially skilled in making the cutest slip dresses, and I believe that its growing popularity made this trend even more grand. There's just something about slip dresses that's so effortless and ethereal. The fit may be shapeless, but that's what makes the dress so casual and delicate.

Here's one of their most popular pieces - the Jada dress - which I snagged in one of the Brandy Melville wholesales in L.A. (haul post here). Not only is it adorable and feminine, but it's incredibly comfortable as well, which is part of why so many girls love it so much. Plus, it only takes a second to put on, hence the fact that it's called a "slip" dress.

Since these kinds of dresses are mostly found in vintage stores (which are quite pricey), I found an amazing DIY to recreate the look. Thanks to this stunning blogger for sharing -  http://oneofeachblog.com/!

It's definitely going to play a vital role this upcoming spring and summer. I especially love the boho-chic style, which is something I typically gravitate to during hotter months.

What do you think of this trend?
